For such a time as this...
A transition into the blessings and promises of God
Dearest Sibling,
How are you feeling? And I mean this truly. How is your heart doing this month? I’d love to give you a very big BTH warm hug and tell you well done! Since I can’t, I want you to imagine God wrapping His arms around you in a giant hug.
There seems to be a wave of tiredness in the air. I feel it too, so if you’re like me I want you to know you’re not the only one. But stay with me, I may have one or two or even three words for you. It is the 10th month of the year guyss(1 2 3 4 5…10). Counting it out loud is unbelievable. How did we get here? I remember the first newsletter BTH sent this year so how are we already on the 10th.
Let’s start by sneezing out that air of tiredness, weariness and discouragement you may have mistakenly inhaled. I know sometimes it can feel like the end of the tunnel is refusing to come so you can finally see the light at the end of it. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day (Prov 4:18).
God is not done with you yet.
Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it will surprise you all the Lord has done.
The Shift 🚀
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. (Isaiah 43:19)
The word I clearly heard was “All of a sudden”. That’s how it would seem for a number of siblings. It feels like a shift from the transition we were in previously into the land flowing with milk and honey. The time is now, yes the set time is now and I want you to see and believe it. For many of you it will be silent prayers being answered, for others it’ll look like the barren areas of your life have begun to sprout fruit and for the rest of you it will be peace and wholeness.
You may also be wondering why I am showing the picture of a man at the beginning of a racetrack when you’re tired already. There is yet more strength for you dear sibling and there is a race set before us.
God hasn’t given up on you so why should you?
Your heart will burn again, you shall obey the instructions that have been given to you, you will become a true worshipper and your oil of gladness, the oil on your altar will be replenished.
Hold fast to the Lord your God.
The Lord says, Behold I am the Lord your God is there anything to hard for me to do and I want to leave you with this scripture, Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Eph 3:20).
3 Prayer Points for yourself:
Lord teach me to trust in you with all my heart, might and soul. Help me to trust in your will and lean not on my own understanding.
Give me the strength and boldness to obey your leadings and instructions.
In your mercy O Lord, keep me from error and direct my path in your light.

A Call to more..
If the gospel we have heard and believed is really GOOD NEWS, we should not keep it to ourselves. As a family we want each and every one of us to share the gospel more.
This month we would be challenging ourselves to talk to at least one person every week about the gospel and pray for them. We would check-in on ourselves during our Global Virtual hangouts
