A letter to the BTH Global Family…
*coughs* as I clear away the 2024 cobwebs and dust. I missed you all too and I can’t believe it took this long to write to you. Well we’ve resumed and you can expect to read a letter or two from us every month throughout 2025.
I would say we had a bit of a slow start to the year, we didn’t “hit the ground running” as many do. I want you to know this isn’t always a bad thing, we were reminded about the importance of running together as a people, with a destination in mind. You know that popular meme video that says “Why are you running”, yess that’s it. Being busy does not equal productivity or alignment to God’s will and so we spent the first few days of the year sitting with God and waiting.
This year at BTH Global has been declared Our year of Discipleship! The year we raise men that would in turn raise other men. The year we’ll individually and collectively be rooted in Christ as well as raise other men in our care by God’s grace. Dear Sibling, is there anyone who is standing solid in Christ on your account? Are there people who now know and serve God because of you?
If your answer is no, 2025 is the year it all changes, AMEN.
February - RUN ON 🏃🏽♂️
Have you been diligent child of God?
When the hand of God comes upon a man one of the things that happens is distinction. It sets you apart and aligns you. This month of February the hand of the Lord is upon you and has given you grace and speed. One of the things we saw were new running shoes being handed over to men.
The problem is you may be tempted to hear this and sit back, but no this is a call to build capacity. David was anointed by Samuel yet he had to fight Goliath and many more men after him. Joseph had the ability to interpret dreams but if he never did albeit in prison, pharaoh would never have found out and summoned him.
How are you making use of your gifts and anointing? Let it be evident to your world that the hand of God is upon you. Let it count for something, but never forget that being busy is not equal to productivity. Focus on what matters and put your all into it.
The 3 C’s for this month are;
Conviction: let your convictions be strengthened and rooted in the word of God. Know who you are and whose you are.
Consistency: show up consistently and excellently. Be trustworthy, accountable and dependable
Community: we’ve be saved into one body in Christ. Do life with other believers, fellowship with saints, find ways to serve and share your gifts.
